Bernard Unterman

I have spent over 38 years exploring healing through the practice of classical Chinese medicine, acupuncture, essential oils, and community teaching.

My work focuses on helping people with chronic and unresolved health conditions by identifying the underlying imbalances that contribute to illness and restoring the body’s ability to heal itself.

In addition to my private practice in Santa Barbara, I have spent decades teaching self-care and healing practices to both community and professional audiences.

My work draws from traditional Chinese medicine, cross-cultural healing traditions, and years of study in China, México, Perú, and beyond.
