Class Description

Would you like to strengthen your inner Life Force— Immune System?

For over 5,000 years, Chinese Medicine has offered practices designed to restore balance and support the body’s natural resilience.

In this workshop, Bernard will share traditional healing practices drawn from Ancient Medicine for these Modern Times — including herbal formulations, Daoist mudras, essential oils, and body-point applications designed to support immune balance and self-healing.

 

What We Will Explore

  • Learn how to apply heat with a Moxa Stick to specific acupuncture points. Moxa sticks will be provided for us to “Moxa” each other in class, which you can take home.
  • Partake of a Ming Dynasty tincture, specific for the immune system.
  • Learn the Daoist Immune System Mudras.
  • Discuss the dietary and emotional factors that can unblock our Immune System.

Bernard Unterman

Bernard has spent over 38 years exploring healing through the practice of classical Chinese medicine, acupuncture, essential oils, and community teaching.

His work focuses on helping people with chronic and unresolved health conditions by identifying the underlying imbalances that contribute to illness and restoring the body’s ability to heal itself.

In addition to his private practice in Santa Barbara, He has spent decades teaching self-care and healing practices to both community and professional audiences.

His work draws from traditional Chinese medicine, cross-cultural healing traditions, and years of study in China, México, Perú, and beyond.
